Managua, Nicaragua is the capital and largest city in Nicaragua. On this trip, we will partner with Indian Rocks Baptist Church SENT partners Bruce and Laura Edgar.
The Edgars serve with ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism) and partner with the Nationals who have established local churches. The Edgars play a supporting role in a variety of ministries, including children's ministry, sports ministry, and construction ministry. Currently the Edgars serve as the Church Plant Coordinators and mentors to Nicaraguan pastors. Thorough ABWE, IRCS students will be introduced to a variety of mission opportunities and evangelism while serving.
In Nicaragua, our team will reside at the ABWE ministry center and will learn about the culture and people of Nicaragua through local evangelism and ministry outreach duties. We will visit the Masaya Volcano, home of Nicaragua's first national park.
