This trip will focus on praying for and serving veterans in our community through a partnership with the Homeless Empowerment Program (HEP) in Clearwater, which provides holistic support to homeless veterans, including housing, food, and medical care. Students will prepare through morning devotions focused on the unique challenges veterans face, then serve by cleaning living quarters and the dining hall, working in the Urban Empowerment Garden, building relationships with veteran residents, and praying with them. On the final day, students will distribute care packages prepared by the team, putting their faith into action by listening to veterans’ stories, praying alongside them, and demonstrating Christ’s love through tangible acts of service.
